Targeting Text contains structured teaching units for the most commonly studied text types. The series is designed to develop students’ comprehension and writing skills using real texts as models and by studying textual features.
Each text type has comprehensive teaching notes including text models, text type scaffolds, practical work sheets and outcomes-based assessment support. The units explain audience, purpose, structure and language through a variety of activities, and develop skills for reading, writing, talking and listening.
