MA027 Comet Maths Kit: Place Value (20-99)
This kit aims to give children an understanding of place value of two digit numbers. It includes activities on making swaps between ones and tens and tens and ones to help the children become familiar with the foundation of our numbering.
Comet Maths was developed in response to a need for a resource to help Teacher Aides who have been given the task of helping students at risk or causing concern in maths. It can be used for an individual student or a small group of students and is designed to take account of different learning styles. Lessons can be used as they stand, be shortened or used to provide a framework within which Teacher Aides can respond to the needs of their students. Activities are 'hands on' and the books include supporting worksheets.
